job summary:
A leading firm in renewable energy is seeking a Solar Engineer to join its team in Chicago, IL. This is a HYBRID role, working 2 days remotely, 3 days in-office.
As Solar Engineer, you will lead consultative meetings with power plant owners and project developers for solar utility-scale work. You will act as owner's engineer for battery storage and projects including preparing RFPs, evaluating proposals, providing technical assistance, and reviewing calculations for electrical/solar systems.
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering along with 5+ years of experience in utility-scaled solar or battery storage projects. Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.
