job summary:
A leading renewable energy consultant is hiring for a Mechanical Engineer in Chicago, IL. This is HYBRID role that works 2 days remotely, 3 days in-office.
As Mechanical Engineer, you will work to reduce risk across pipeline projects including electric power distribution, natural gas, storage facilities and power generation facilities. Youwill perform risk assessments, create long-term asset management plans, assist in project design, data analysis and writing technical reports.
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and experience working with pipeline integrity assessments or assessing power/transmission projects. Knowledge of the API RP 1173: Pipeline Safety Management System is preferred along with prior experience in natural gas or electrical utilities.
