Great opportunity for detail-oriented accounts payable specialists . You will be processing payments, verifying invoices, and performing account reconciliations. Vendor management and set up will be key in the role. To ensure success as an accounts payable specialist, you should exhibit sound knowledge of best practices in accounting and experience in a similar role. Experience with SAP S4/HANA or SAP VIM receives priority. Experience with other vendor management systems also considered. The technical aspects for the role are important, but the ability to learn quickly and show professionalism will count heavily as well. A go getter attitude with the ability to hit the ground running will do well in this position.

salary: $21 - $22 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

  • Respond to external vendors and internal managers regarding all aspects of the accounts payable process, including processing invoices for payment, recording sales tax, assisting with bank reconciliations, and documenting loans.

  • Research information to provide accurate and timely solutions to internal clients and vendors at multiple locations.

  • Verify the accuracy of vendor invoices and confirm that the correct general ledger account codes are used.

  • Generate payment to vendors on a routine schedule and match the check with backup for review by the financial manager.

  • Inspect paid and unpaid invoices including cleared payment inquiries and check voiding to maintain accurate files and records according to company standards.

  • Monitor account balances, track expenses, prepare analyses of accounts and related financial activity to produce monthly financial reports.
