Overview: As a Warehouse Lifting Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods within our warehouse facility. Your primary duty will be operating and maintaining our garage door systems to facilitate the smooth flow of incoming and outgoing shipments. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety. Key Responsibilities: Garage Door Operation: Operate and maintain warehouse garage door systems to facilitate the loading and unloading of shipments. Ensure doors are functioning properly and address any malfunctions or issues promptly. Material Handling: Safely lift, move, and stack heavy items using appropriate equipment and techniques. This may include manual lifting as well as operating forklifts or pallet jacks. Inventory Management: Assist in inventory control by accurately counting, recording, and organizing incoming and outgoing products. Collaborate with team members to ensure inventory accuracy and timely order fulfillment. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to minimize the risk of workplace accidents or injuries. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, promptly report any hazards or safety concerns to supervisors. Quality Assurance: Conduct visual inspections of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify quality standards are met. Report any discrepancies or damages to appropriate personnel. Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse team members to coordinate workflow and ensure efficient operations. Communicate effectively to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and must speak English
