Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician with expertise in PLC programming, VFD troubleshooting, and CNC machine repair to ensure the uninterrupted operation of our advanced manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, possess technical abilities, and demonstrate a proactive approach to maintenance and problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance tasks on CNC machines, PLC-controlled equipment, and VFD-driven systems to maintain optimal performance and reliability.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, including PLCs, VFDs, and CNC controls.
Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify potential issues and implement corrective measures to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize equipment performance and implement process improvements.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and spare parts inventory.
Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in aerospace manufacturing or a related industry.
Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting, with experience working with Allen-Bradley or Siemens systems preferred.
Knowledge of VFDs and motor control systems, including troubleshooting and parameterization.
Experience with CNC machine repair and maintenance, including spindle alignments, ball screw replacements, and axis calibration.
Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
salary: $60,000 - $90,000 per year
