Full time-Direct hire- Rotating Shifts, Electrical Technician- Carrolton, KY- Local client is seeking an electrical technician with experience with electrical theory, plc troubleshooting, working on a team, being a team member and interested in working in a heavy industrial work setting.

responsibilities:
The role of the Maintenance Electrical Technician is to be a great team member who demonstrates high levels of honesty, integrity, and ownership in everything they do. In addition, the selected candidates will ensure the success of the team by SAFELY performing Preventative and Corrective maintenance on steel mill equipment and systems, as well as proposing and implementing innovative solutions to challenges in the steel making process. The Maintenance Electrical Technician will work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts, scheduled and unscheduled overtime. Safety is the most important part of all jobs; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
standing for 4 hours at one time
working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
working weekends qualifications:
Experience level: Entry Level
Minimum 1 year of experience
Education: High School (required)skills:
PLC
PLC troubleshooting (1 year of experience is required)
