job summary:
A Stock Room Handler is needed for one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products in the Bohemia, NY area. The Stock Room Handler is responsible for efficiently managing inventory, conducting cycle counts, fulfilling production line material needs, and providing customer service, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols.

responsibilities:
Pull items from stock to fill kits for issue to manufacturing.
Perform daily cycle counts and rectify discrepancies.
Place materials in assigned locations.
Receive purchased and completed manufactured items, verifying markings and quantities.
Assign part numbers and identify hardware using labels and markers.
Check MRP system for shortages on work orders or sales orders and issue materials as required.
Pick, pack, and post inventory to work orders and prepare shipping documentation.
Skills:
English proficiency, Spanish bilingualism beneficial.
Basic computer skills: MS Outlook and Excel.
Basic email etiquette/professionalism preferred.
Dependable attendance.
Team-oriented with ability to work independently.
Results-driven and willingness to learn.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma/GED with 4-5 years related experience or
Bachelor's degree with 0-1 years of related experience.
