Randstad Federal is seeking a Basis Cloud Migration Consultant in support of a Federal program at Navy
location: BETHESDA, Maryland
job type: Contract
salary: $90 - 100 per hour
work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:
Overview:
Evaluates programmatic data and resolves inconsistencies. Designs and implements middleware environments. Manages availability and performance of the middleware systems. Monitors performance of middleware components (webMethods, WebSphere MQ, etc.). Supports and manages interface systems connectivity.
Required Skills:
10 years of IT Admin experience with 2+ years installation/patching/tuning/supporting webMethods Integration Server
Linux server installing, patching and supporting applications
Supporting and managing multiple middleware environments (webMethods, MQSeries, Tivoli, and SFTP)
Managing middleware components (webMethods, WebSphere MQ, etc.)
Supporting interface developers and assisting with system connectivityExperience with Cloud Migration is required.
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, Business or other related scientific or technical discipline. An additional four (4) years of SAP Basis or equivalent COTS experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
Federal experience required.
Must be able to clear a DoD Top Secret clearance
Security+ and RHEL Certifications required
Primary Job Duties:
Prepare and execute middleware application patching, upgrades and tuning activities
Troubleshoot and resolve middleware incident tickets
Perform analysis on system operation issues and make remediation recommendations
Document application/system processes and procedures
Monitor application/system performance and logs
Preferred Skills:
webMethods API Gateway, API Portal, Command Central and Universal Messaging admin experience
Experience designing/configuring webMethods Integration Server in a clustered environment.
Experience using wM Deployer to manage/deploy custom package changes across the wM landscape.
Enterprise-wide REST and SOAP API hosting/management
OAuth2 security configuration and management
MQSeries installation, patching, configuration and tuning
webMethods SAP Adapter configuration and tuning
Knowledge/experience with SAP IDOC's & RFC
Basic Linux scripting
SFTP server and client working knowledge
Understanding of digital certificates and ciphers
