Trade Accountant needed for 6 to 8 month contract opportunity!
This is a intermediate level accountant role, and you will be part of a team that supports the Trades and Invesment business.
Positon Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in accounting or finance
Knowledge of Trades and middle office investment management
Interest in investments and prior experience ideal
Experience in Excel and Outlook
Willingness to learn
Detail Oriented and ability to multitask
Ability to meet deadlines
Position will be a hybrid of both in office and working from home; must be located in the Berwyn, PA area
Must provide you own laptop
salary: $25 - $28.9 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors
Responsibilities
Focus on: performance & buying/selling securities and determining returns on investments
Administrative function is separate, custodians & brokers
Transaction management is the function. Taking on trades, client hire investment manager, trade file, in system, from there look to see if any discrepancy with brokers information.
System that reconciles between what given and what broker has related to trade. Deal with equity, fixed income, derivatives. If correct, goes through stp, etc.
Word transactions where piece missing, and failed result. Not in marketplace properly – need to find out WHY. Can be because of other countries, different in security trade, off on units because of multiplier effect, or many other reasons.
Responsible for determining WHAT IS CAUSING THIS TO FAIL – is what they are determining. Conducting INVESTIGATION
