Our state of the art manufacturing facility, located in Betsville, Md is seeking CNC Machine Operators for our 2nd shift. Candidates must be able to set up the mahcine, identify correct tooling, and able to perform offsets, are the biggest skills that separate this position from an entry level operator. These skills essentailly make a CNC Operator independent, which is what we are looking for at this level.
salary: $29 - $29.7 per hour
shift: Second
work hours: 3 PM - 11 AM
education: High School
Responsibilities
Must be ale to read/write and speak English
Must be able to use a computer
Read and comprehend specs. engineering drawings and manufacturing routings.
Position requires exposure to dirt, oil and Ability to stand, sit, move 8-12 hours a day
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 35lbs
standing for 10 hours at one time
working up to 4 hrs of overtime per week
Skills
CNC (2 years of experience is required)
Manufacturing (2 years of experience is required)
