Local company in Bedford, OH is seeking Maintenance Technicians for both 2nd and 3rd shift. Candidates must have at least two (2) years maintenance experience, be comfortable working in a foundry setting, and proficient with hand tools, welding, and have hydraulic experience. Responsibilities
Pay: $25 - $27
Hours: 11pm to 7am
Responsibilites:
Diagnose and repair machines and equipment
Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
Perform general facility preventive and repair maintenance
Keep the machines, mechanical equipment and the structure of an establishment running during production
Repair or replace defective machinery or parts
Melting furnace repair and relining
Operate forklift
Hot work and lockout/tagout operation
Profiency with hand tools a must
Candidate will have welding and hydraulic experience
Knowledge of PLC is preferred
Demonstrated ability to work without direct supervision
The essential functions of this role include:
wearing steel toe shoes
working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
