Worldwide supplier that designs and manufactures a wide range of cable assemblies and wires is hiring for a quality inspector for their manufacturing facility. Candidates with FAI, Incoming, inprocess and final inspection are encouraged to ! Responsibilities
Performs first article inspection, in process and final quality inspection of finished products in accordance with established procedures.
Documents all instances of rejected product or raw material problems in database.
Utilize measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify part dimension
Follow and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications to perform accurate inspection
Collaborate with engineering teams to address any discrepancies between specifications and actual products
Ensure adherence to AS9001 and AS9102 standards in all quality control processes.
Inspects incoming raw materials as materials are received.
Reports any unusual discrepancies or problems promptly to management.
