Key‌ ‌Responsibilities‌ ‌

Front-end development: Developing the client side of web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to ensure a responsive user experience and visually appealing website design. Designing user interfaces and navigation menus. Translate Figma and Adobe designs into the CMS. Meet regularly with stakeholders and managers to review business and functional requirements and to determine project scopes and specifications.

Back-end development: Building the server-side components and databases to support the functionality of web applications, often using languages like PHP, Python, Ruby, or Node.js.

Web security: Implementing security measures to protect websites and web applications from vulnerabilities, such as SQL injection, cross-site scripting, and data breaches.

Testing and debugging: Conducting thorough testing and debugging of websites and applications to ensure they function correctly and are error-free. Ensure software stability via regression, support quality assurance, and perform unit and user-acceptance testing to identify bugs.

Optimisation: Optimizing websites for speed, performance, and search engine optimisation (SEO) to enhance user experience and visibility. A/B‌ ‌Testing,‌ ‌measure‌ ‌the‌ ‌performance‌ ‌of‌ ‌CTAs‌ ‌and‌ ‌improve‌ ‌conversion‌ ‌rate‌ ‌consistently‌. Translate high performing landing pages into talent pipelines.

Content management: Integrating content management systems (CMS) like Directus, Gr8People, Drupal, or Joomla to allow easy content updates for clients or content creators. Becoming familiar with latest web development trends is crucial for maintaining a competitive edge, delivering exceptional user experiences, and future-proofing our digital presence

Version control: Driving effective team collaboration and project management by harnessing GitHub features, including pull requests, branching, and issue tracking, to streamline workflows and ensure project success.

Integration: Seamlessly incorporate third-party application programming interfaces (APIs) into web applications to enhance functionality, data retrieval, and user experiences. Advise‌ ‌and‌ ‌lead‌ ‌integration‌ ‌with‌ ‌ATS‌ ‌and‌ ‌publishers‌ ‌with‌ ‌ad‌ ‌platforms‌ ‌e.g‌ ‌Joveo‌, Indeed, LinkedIn, Meta and Google.

Localisation: Ensure user-friendly experiences for a diverse audience by implementing multi-language support, including English, to cater to a global user base and enhance accessibility and engagement.

Lead and Train: Lead developers guide development teams, set coding standards, and play a significant role in project planning and architecture. Responsible for updating user guide documentation for all web related tools. Be the subject matter expert on all web related issues.

Web Analytics: Using a variety of tools like Google Analytics, BigQuery to extract and analyze data generated by online user activity. Reporting your findings with data visualizations that are easy to understand. Increase‌ ‌the‌ ‌recruitment‌ ‌marketing‌ ‌funnel‌ ‌efficiencies‌

Key‌ ‌Expertise‌:

  • Excellent‌ ‌command‌ ‌of‌ ‌English‌ ‌language‌ ‌and‌ ‌communication‌ ‌skills‌ ‌

  • Experience in leading high-profile web development projects that solve technical challenges and excel across security, performance, and scalability.

  • Experience on working with recruitment related CMS and consent management platforms for web cookies. Be familiar with GDPR regulations.

  • Experience in UK Web accessibility [WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines)]

  • Proven success in assembling and delivering multiple websites with high conversion rate

  • Cross browser compatibility testing

  • Version control/Git

  • Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders

  • Experience‌ ‌or‌ ‌a‌ ‌high‌ ‌level‌ ‌of‌ ‌awareness‌ ‌of‌ ‌SEO‌ ‌and‌ ‌CRM‌ ‌platforms‌, many factors of website design can affect the site’s search engine ranking. Understanding how search engines rank sites is useful in a developer’s work.

  • Knowledge‌ ‌of‌ ‌the‌ ‌whole‌ ‌web‌ ‌development‌ ‌process‌ ‌(Research, UX,‌ UI, wireframes, sitemaps, taxonomy, ‌prototype,‌ ‌dev‌ ‌environments & QA)‌ ‌

  • Good‌ ‌knowledge‌ ‌of‌ ‌front‌ ‌end‌ ‌web‌ ‌development,‌ ‌proficiency‌ ‌in‌ ‌HTML5,‌ ‌CSS3‌ ,‌ JavaScript‌ ‌and‌ ‌jQuery‌ ‌

  • Solid‌ ‌understanding‌ ‌of‌ ‌a‌ ‌front-end‌ ‌HTML/CSS‌ ‌framework‌ ‌(preferably‌ ‌Bootstrap)‌ ‌

Qualifications‌:

  • 6+‌ ‌experience,‌ ‌University‌ ‌(Bachelor's)‌ ‌degree‌ ‌and/or‌ ‌relevant‌ ‌certifications‌ ‌and‌ ‌experiences‌ ‌

  • Google‌ ‌Ads‌ ‌Certification‌ ‌desirable‌ ‌

  • Google Analytics 4 certification desirable

  • UX | UI certification
