Responsibilities
Perform the functions of the assigned position on the production floor in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with Company SOP's, GMP's and best practices.
Set up and operate Labelers and date coder for day's production per SOP.
The Operator will be required to safely operate the equipment, troubleshoot problems, changeover equipment, perform quality checks, and basic operational maintenance tasks.
The Operator will also give guidance on safety, quality, and operations to temporary employees who will be assisting in the area.
Actively engage in keeping the processing department up to the established standards including GMP, and company requirements. Own the standard operating procedure for the Processor position. Continuously improve quality driven actions that lead to award winning results. Ensure adherence to all Personal Safety, Product Safety, Quality, and Environmental Practices
Perform start up and shutdown of production line and equipment in accordance with established Company procedures, GMP's and best practices
Proactively generate ideas to improve day-to-day operation of the entire Processing Department. Optimize available resources to continuously improve work environment.
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
standing for 7 hours at one time
