We are seeking a motivated and experienced Consumer Collections Representative/Associate to join our Collections Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consumer or Third-Party collections, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, must have worked on Dialer and knowledge of FDCPA Regulations.
salary: $22 - $23 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
Job Details:
Ability to identify issues to know when to escalate to management
Contact customers to resolve outstanding past due payment (s)
Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers as needed
Collaborate with Customer Service, Originations, and others to resolve customer disputes and issues
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience in consumer collections
strong knowledge of collection laws and regulations
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must have knowledge of fair credit reporting practice, previous collection experience, and dialer experience.
