Associate Data Scientist II – – Randstad General Partner (US) LLC –Randstad One Overton Park, 3625 Cumberland Blvd, Suite 500, Atlanta, GA 30339

Job Duties:
Employ big data technologies and analytics techniques to process and analyze large amounts of data to derive insights and predictions that help improve business decisions. Organize data, cleanse and normalize raw data, process data for statistical modeling using computers, and identify relationships and trends in data. Develop, test, and deploy solutions that address different business problems. Use advanced analytics techniques to process and analyze large amounts of data to identify trends and relationships within the data and draw actionable insights. Prepare data by organizing, adjusting and weighting the raw data, applying advanced analytics approaches, and processing large amounts of data using computers. Validate the functionality of software solutions and provide necessary support to end-users to resolve different operational issues. Work with different teams (IT managers, Executives, Business Partners) to better understand the business and the challenges. Articulate discoveries and insights and challenges with management. Troubleshoot medium complexity problems. Train, assist, and develop less experienced Big Data Analysts and Associate Data Scientists. Use computer programming languages to implement and build statistical modeling or machine learning algorithms. Program, test, execute, debug, and deploy solutions.
Responsible for translating business problems into models which are used as the foundation for data-driven
solutions. Apply the current state of the art in big data, machine learning, and data science to business scenarios.
Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, MIS, Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Must have 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or a related occupation. Must have 3 years of
experience in: Database technology (Oracle, DB2, Bigquery, Hadoop, Impala, and/or SQL); Data Cleaning, Manipulation, Analysis, and Reporting; Data visualization (javascript, tableau, gnuplot, and/or matplotlib); and Programming Language (Python, Javascript, Java, and/or C). Must have 3 years of experience in Advanced Machine Learning, Applied Statistics, and Artificial Intelligence, including demonstrated experience in Business Domain, risk management protocols, abstract requirements, early-stage issues/gaps identification, problem solving, concepts application, customer service, basic situation analysis, statistical modeling, computer programming, and software engineering. May work remotely from any U.S. location – reports to company office in Atlanta, GA.

Compensation Range: $130,000 to $130,700
