Duration: 13 weeks - Contract to Hire for the right Candidate Start: ASAP Location: Hybrid - Must be Local Schedule: Choose to work in the office every day or 1x a week
Job Description:
Prepare and maintain budget templates for sponsored clinical trials
Review study documents and protocols
Analyze costs and interpret clinical protocols into budget milestones
Communicate budget information to Contracts Analysts and participate in contract negotiation
Administer study-related billing and support auditing of billing records
Manage workflow across multiple research programs
Essential Function:
Develop study budgets from clinical protocols
Communicate billing structure to clinical teams and service providers
Maintain complete records and statistics on expenses and payments
Build positive relationships within research departments and institutions involved in clinical research
Requirements/Must Haves:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred
2 years of Research Experience
Experience with billing and negotiating with sponsors

Responsibilities
The Clinical Research Budgets Analyst ensures accurate and timely budget management for sponsored clinical trials.
Responsibilities include:
Creating and maintaining budget templates
Reviewing study documents and protocols
Analyzing costs and translating protocols into budget milestones
Providing detailed cost descriptions for regulatory submissions
Updating budget and milestone information as needed
This role collaborates with various teams and manages workflows across multiple research programs.
Develop study budgets from clinical protocols using software tools
Integrate internal costs and revise budgets as necessary
Communicate budget information to Contracts Analysts and participate in contract negotiation
Determine coverage for each study and communicate billing structure to clinical teams and service providers
Administer study-related billing and support auditing of billing records
Monitor compliance with budgets and agreements
Build positive relationships within research departments and other institutions involved in clinical research
Set up study payment milestones and billing instructions using Microsoft Applications or Clinical Trial Management System
Provide support and cost analysis for investigator-initiated trials
