Our client is open to candidates who have two years of experience working within purchasing and who are friendly and easygoing. Location - Amherst, NH Hours - 7:30am - 4:00pm Client can also be flexible if you wanted to work 8:00am - 4:30pm or 8:30am - 5:00pm Pay Rate - $19.00/hr to $25.00/hr Position Duration - TEMP to HIRE Benefits - Competitive benefits package including health benefits and time off. 2 Weeks vacation the 1st year, 3 weeks after 5 years, and 4 weeks after 15 years. You also get a personal day each quarter

Responsibilities

Will responsible for assisting the Buyers to ensure materials required for production of company's products are acquired in the way that best supports the manufacturing Build Plan

Two years of administrative experience is preferred

Two years of experience within purchasing dept required

Two years' experience with electronic components, devices and electro-mechanical assemblies preferred, but not required

Experience working within a manufacturing industry is a huge plus but is not required to be considered.

Must have an understanding of supply-chain management and purchasing principles

Able to work independently in a fast-paced, small office environment while staying focused on corporate goals

Ability to obtain results and work towards aggressive, time sensitive target dates

Able to adapt and respond to a fast-paced environment while ing attention-to detail

Excellent organizational and follow through (follow-up) skills

Possess a sense of urgency

Good analytical and decision-making skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Good negotiating skills

Excellent interpersonal skills, able to exhibit confidence, tact and diplomacy when dealing with suppliers and internal customers

Sage Experience is a huge plus but not required to be considered as long as you have use another type of CRM or ERP system
