Our client is a landscaping company that is looking to add headcount! We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to add to the team!

• LOCATION: Onsite in Alviso

• TYPE: Contract-to-hire

• PAY: 30-38+ an hour(depending on experience)

• SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday

salary: $30 - $38 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting

• General Ledger reconcilaiton

• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to identify and resolve any discrepancies

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

• Process accounts receivable transactions and ensure timely collection of payments

• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information for analysis and reporting purposes

• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement

• Assist with the implementation of financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

• Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations

Skills

• General Ledger (2 years of experience is required)

• Accounts Payable (2 years of experience is required)

• ProContractor (1 year of experience is required)

• American Contractor (1 year of experience is preferred)

• Excel (2 years of experience is required)

• Bank Reconciliations (2 years of experience is required)

• Journal Entries (2 years of experience is required)

• Accounts Receivable (1 year of experience is required)
