Join our team in Alpharetta, GA, USA as an Automation Wiring Technician. You'll be responsible for wiring electrical panels, third-party hardware, and sensors on robotic work cells and industrial automation systems, ensuring smooth operation and troubleshooting electrical issues as necessary.
Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate the build process of automated equipment according to electrical design packages and customer specifications.
Perform panel, cell, and system wiring, adhering to NEC, NFPA regulations, and IPTE standards.
Conduct electrical testing, troubleshooting, and verification to ensure equipment functionality.
Provide support during integration and acceptance phases.
Collaborate with project stakeholders to solve problems and deliver functional systems.
Follow ISO 9001 Quality Management System procedures and work instructions.
Qualifications/Experience Requirements:
Prior experience in building panels and wiring automation systems, including working with Servo motors, VFDs, PLCs, and soldering.
Strong ability to read and work from electrical schematics.
Attention to detail and high accuracy in work.
Willingness to travel within the US and internationally for 2-week periods every 4-6 months.
Ability to work overtime; typical weeks are 50-55 hours.
Valid Driver's license.
Salary and Benefits:
$29-32/hr salary.
Excellent Benefits: Fully paid medical and dental, 401k, PTO (2 weeks).
