Company located in Akron, OH is looking for a Plastic Process Technician Trainee on all three shifts. Previous factory work experience is preferred, but not required. This will be similar to an Entry Level CNC Setup position. Candidates who are proficient in reading comprehension and following instructions will be successful. Everyone trains for 30 days on 1st shift and then will go to 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift based on what you applied for. This is a union job, so all employees are hired in after thirty (30) days. Responsibilities
Pay: $17.37 per/hr (some OT)
Hours: 7am - 3:30pm M-F
Train on 1st Shift for 30 days, then go to 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Shift based on what you applied for when training is complete
Responsibilities:
Entry Level CNC Setup
Maintain maintenance files on all equipment and buildings.
Work with department supervisors to minimize disruption to production schedules when repairs are needed.
Follow appropriate ANSI, NEC codes and OSHA regulations, including safety requirements.
On call for after-hours maintenance issues.
Perform other duties as requested by management.
Ability to stand and / or walk (being on your feet) for eight hours.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Other requirements may be necessary as the job dictates.
