A trusted client of Randstad's has openings for a Patient Registrar. This is an onsite position in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have previous medical experience, an understanding of medical terminology and insurance knowledge as well as strict adherence to HIPPA. Responsibilities
Enables patients to secure access to care by performing all tasks related to registration and pre-registration of outpatient and inpatient accounts.
Calculates and secures patient liability, including copayments, coinsurance and deductibles in an efficient, accurate and hospitable manner to ensure that the patient, physician and hospital's needs are met.
Understanding of medical terminology, insurance and adherence to HIPPA.
